Our approach
We recently visited this house which is located in Central West Queensland an area that Mastotermes Darwinienses thrive.
Mastotermes Darwiniensis is the common name for the giant northern termite. It is a species of termite that is only found in Northern Australia. Mastotermes Darwiniensis build their nest secretly totally below the soil surface they are one of the worlds most destructive termite.
What is unique about this job is firstly that it is protected by a combination of both a baiting system and a chemical system.
With traditional baiting systems you would not need to combine the two. The second is that I’m using a baiting system when mastotermes is an issue, this is because the active ingredient in these stations is registered and proven to eradicate this termite… in fact it is registered for all termites. It is also more attractive to termites than traditional systems, and given that it is active from installation it requires less monitoring.
